The Story of Sorrel River Ranch Resort & Spa

In 1903 Fred and Ida Stearns claimed this wilderness land on the Colorado River as their homestead. Fred used a single plow horse to develop the high desert valley into enough farmland to feed his family and livestock. Today the original two-room farmhouse still stands on our property.
